Approximately twelve years ago, a close friend of mine was involved in a major car accident that left him scarred from burns. He was bedridden for quite some time and I was one of the few true friends who kept in touch. I remember my friend struggling to come to grips with his current condition and although I tried to be supportive, there was no way for me to truly know what he was going through. I wish a site like this existed back then so he could have met people who understood what he was experiencing and maybe offer some empathetic advice.

I’m happy to say that my friend overcame many adversities and has been successful in learning to live life day by day. In fact, his entire story is quite inspiring and is the reason I truly believe in miracles to this day.

We’re hoping this site provides an opportunity for those who are reluctant to participate in a conventional dating site because a physical or mental challenge. Our name speaks for itself…come as you are, whether you looking for a friend to make you laugh or a significant other to share some special times.
We’re looking forward to providing injured veterans an opportunity to network back into civilian life and those confined to a bed the ability to communicate with the world that surrounds them. We’re proud of our military and hope this site will provide strength and support in their return from the Middle East. We also offer an invitation to our Vietnam Vets and soldiers involved in past conflicts…we will not forget.
